From Oban

(About 17 miles and takes about 30 minutes)

From Oban, follow signs for Campbeltown A816. Some 7 miles south of Oban at the junction with the B844 (Kilninver), turn right onto B844 (signposted Kilninver, Easdale).

After about one mile at Kilninver Church bear right over the small stone bridge. After another 3 miles you will cross the hump back bridge called  "The Bridge Over The Atlantic" and pass the Tigh an Truish Inn. On reaching Balvicar bear right at crossroads.

Drive into Ellenabeich over speed humps in middle of road, bear left at village square and drive past the Oyster Bar and the Seafari shop. Insh Cottage (No 17) is 4 doors down from the Seafari Shop.

 

From Lochgilphead

If driving from Lochgilphead on the A816 turn left on to the B844 immediately after Kilninver School. After about one mile at the "Give Way" sign by Kilninver Church turn left across the small stone bridge. After another 3 miles you will cross the hump back bridge called  "The Bridge Over The Atlantic" and pass the Tigh an Truish Inn. On reaching Balvicar bear right at crossroads.
